Description: The NSS Units of Sir Theagaraya College, Chennai, actively participated in the “Start Run, Stop Drugs” Marathon, a massive statewide anti-drug awareness programme organized by the Government of Tamil Nadu in collaboration with the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu (SDAT). The event was inaugurated in the presence of Cabinet Ministers and District Collectors, highlighting the Government’s commitment to building a drug-free society. The marathon aimed to create awareness among youth about the harmful effects of drug abuse, promote a healthy lifestyle through sports and physical fitness, and encourage students to become ambassadors of the anti-drug movement. The enthusiastic participation of NSS volunteers reflected their dedication to spreading the message of a healthier, safer, and drug-free Tamil Nadu.
