The NCC aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, and a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. Further, it aims at creating a pool of organized, trained and motivated youth with leadership qualities in all walks of life, who will serve the Nation regardless of which career they choose. Needless to say, the NCC also provides an environment conducive to motivate young Indians to join the armed forces.
Our College has a prestigious history of 70 years National Cadet Corps as an extension activity under the Ministry of Defence. There are 104 Cadets in the Infantry wing including 30 SW (Girl) cadets. Our cadets are engage themselves in the Republic Day Parade in Delhi, Trekking, Mountaineering, Army attachment, National Integration Camps etc., The cadets actively involve in various social service activities like conducting blood donation camps, Swatch Bharath campaigns, Tree plantations and in organizing many awareness rallies. NCC organizes Intercollegiate competitions under the banner of ‘Theaga Fest’. Many cadets have attained renewed credible placements in the country and are also placed in uniform services.
