Awareness Programme organised by the NSS Units in collaboration with the Department of Higher Education, Government of Tamil Nadu.
The National Service Scheme (NSS) Units of Sir Theagaraya College, Chennai, organised an Awareness Programme on “Ragging-Free Society – A Shared Responsibility” on 07.08.2026, in collaboration with the Department of Higher Education, Government of Tamil Nadu.
Dr. D. Don Stony, Assistant Professor, Department of Tamil, Loyola College, Chennai, served as the Resource Person.
He explained about the harmful effects, legal consequences and prevention of ragging. The programme emphasised mutual respect, dignity, safety and responsibility among students.
The programme was informative and impactful, motivating students to contribute towards creating a ragging-free educational environment.
